Author’s Full Bio

Ken Robinson

.

Ken Robinson is a writer, thought leader, strategic communicator, social advocate, and rationalist committed to exploring the intersection of perception, pursuit, and purposeful action. He brings a solid technical background and extensive experience to his work, focusing on personal development, leadership, self-perception, action, faith, society, and the unseen narratives that shape human behaviour.

Through story-driven insight and reflective prose, Ken Robinson challenges readers to question inherited beliefs, confront complacency, and embrace the responsibility that comes with growth and transformation. His books are written for individuals who sense that there is more—more clarity, more courage, and more meaning—and are willing to pursue it. He is a credible voice in the fields of personal and social transformation.

As a former labour activist, he is a strong supporter of equity, fairness, and justice. With over thirty years of activism, public service, and community strategic leadership, he has established himself as a formidable force for positive change—deliberate, bold, and passionately committed to promoting peace and progress.

And as a key stakeholder in his home region of the Niger Delta, Nigeria, Ken has made significant contributions to advocacy, policy formulation, and sustainable development initiatives. In 2017, he participated in the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Inter-Ministerial and Agency Technical Committee, which framed a Strategic Implementation Work Plan (SIWP) for the Niger Delta Region. The plan aimed to improve project planning and execution among government ministries, departments, and agencies relevant to the region.

In July 2025, Ken Robinson was among individuals honoured by the Niger Delta Development Commission, the Nigerian government’s agency responsible for accelerating the development of the country’s oil-rich deltaic region. This recognition of his contributions to peace and development underscores the significance of his work.

Over the years, he has dedicated himself to learning, dialogue, and discovery across various platforms, including stages, classrooms, and conferences. His work spans topics from peacebuilding and non-violent communication to advocacy, leadership, conflict resolution, transformative dialogue, and the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation.

Ken is a Fellow of the Corporate Strategic Institute (fcsi) and has been awarded its Doctoral Fellowship in Research and Leadership. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Marine Engineering from Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He had an extensive career in the broadcast industry at Radio Rivers, a radio station owned by the Government of Rivers State, Nigeria, where he advanced to the position of Assistant Director before voluntarily retiring in 2011 to pursue other pursuits.

Born on 19 December 1965, Ken hails from Ido Town in the Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. He is deeply committed to personal and societal development, a lifelong learner of change leadership, and devoted to supporting others. Guided by a lasting vision, he leads bravely and seeks to create a meaningful legacy.
